What information do we collect from you?

Why do we collect this information?
First and foremost, the information we collect is to keep you safe and ensure you receive treatments that pose no risk to your health or wellbeing. This information also means you are covered by our insurance.

Consultation forms, medical history, patch testing and treatment records.
Secondary information will be used for the following purposes:

Marketing to include exclusive offers, newsletters and loyalty schemes.

Appointment reminders

Other communication and notifications that may affect a treatment or booking: staff holidays: price changes: new openings: cancellations.
We will ask on each consultation form for your consent to transfer your basic information (name, email, phone number) to our online booking system Booksy (if not already registered). This will enable appointment reminders to be sent via text and email.
A separate privacy notice will be provided to allow you to opt in for tect and email marketing and other communication (as above).
How do we store your information?
Signed consultation and health records are stored manually in a locked cabinet accessible to staff only.
Information stored on our booking system (Booksy) will be stored in a cloud. Further information regarding how Booksy stores your information is provided on the app (see Privacy Policy).
Who might we share your information with?
We will not share your information with any third party except in the instance of our booking app which is managed by Booksy. All information added to Booksy will be stored in the cloud, meaning Booksy and its staff have no access to your information.
Separate privacy notices may apply to Booksy’ own terms and conditions which can be found on the app.

How long do we keep hold of your information?
Consultation forms and treatment records cannot be permanently deleted as they must be kept legally for insurance purposes for a period of five years. They can however be archived upon request.
All other information held on the Booksy cloud or from website subscriptions can be permanently deleted at any stage.
How will my images be used?
All images of work will require your consent before being used for marketing on social media. Once you have provided consent for the use of images on social media they will remain the copyright of Ooh La Lush Nails and Beauty and will not be removed.
Unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe from our website newsletter by emailing “UNSUBSCRIBE” to salon@lashandbeautycollective.co.uk This will permanently delete your information from our records and we will not be able to contact you again.
All communication via Booksy will have an unsubscribe button at the bottom of each text or email. If you prefer to receive appointment reminders only and no marketing, please advise via email and we will make the necessary arrangements. NB: you may miss important information regarding closures, staff holidays and price increases if you choose to unsubscribe from Booksy marketing.

Please be aware that we are located in a garden studio where neighbours use CCTV.
